Kylie's 1st Birthday!

Kylie mostly liked the frosting on her cake.  She really surprised me and didn't get very messy.

Our cute little girl had not been feeling well for a few days and still wasn't quite up to par.  She still managed to smile a few times to live up to her nickname Smiley Kylie.

Here she is opening a present.  She really did a great job of pulling the tissue paper out of the bag all by herself.  She's great at taking anything out!

Here Kylie is with my sister Amy.  Kylie loves to pretend she is talking on the phone.

Here is Kylie's cake.  We got it from Costco because they have wonderfully delicious cakes. So you might notice there is not a candle...first time mom forgot the candle...shame, shame.  Lesson learned for next year.

I thought this one was funny of her.  She is "talking/singing."  She always puts her feet up on her highchair like this.

This is her birthday hat that one of our friends made her.  She thought she was so cool with her little birthday hat.  She is holding a little baby doll her Grandma Bush gave her and is sitting a little chair that her Mi-Mi gave her.  She loves both!  When we first gave her the doll, she held it up to her shoulder and started patting it.  It was so adorable.  She's such a sweetie.  She recently started patting my back and humming to me sometimes when I pick her up.   

She really did hold still while I tied it on.  She loved this little hat...for about 10 seconds and then she pulled it off!
